Our next estate meeting is 2 september!

Our next meeting of the tenants and residents association is on Tuesday 2 September at 6:15pm. We usually finish about 8:15pm.

Everyone who lives on the estate is welcome.

We get together to talk about:

• Protecting our free after school club

• New events at our shared hall e.g. when a charity offers a free Taekwondo class we discuss if we want to say yes and how to advertise it

• The condition of our estate and neighbourhood and how we can improve it e.g. we have discussed blocked drains, communal hallways, cleaning standards

• We raise issues with Lambeth Council about our homes

• Opportunities for our community e.g. our food pantry and Lambeth healthy living programmes

• How we can fund amazing activities on our estate e.g. applying for grants

• How we can support each other as a community e.g. looking after children on our lovely playgrounds

Refreshments are provided at all meetings and residents are encouraged to bring neighbours.

The tenants and residents associations has won improvements to the area such the recent £800,000 spent on new playgrounds and other improvements.

The more of us that get involved, the stronger we are and the more we can achieve as a united community.
