Brixton's own orchestra are a product of local talent and the unique blend of creative energy and cultural diversity.
BCO champion orchestral music, presenting it to new audiences in unexpected venues. We revel in innovative collaborations with all sorts of artists and genres - Grime to Gospel, Disco to Drum and Bass, Classical to Jazz, and everything inbetween.
Twice a year, BCO tour Lambeth's housing estates, performing eclectic programmes to hundreds from the local community.
Summer kids programme
Get ready for the ultimate summer experience! Our incredible programme welcomes children 5-14 years old who are eligible for benefit-related free school meals into a world of discovery and fun.
From cinema and museum trips to creative activities like jewellery making, we’ve designed each day to spark curiosity and build confidence.
Your children will come home buzzing with stories about new skills they’ve mastered, friends they’ve made, and adventures they can’t wait to share with you!
